Competition Rules and Conditions
1. Players must be recognised Golf Clubs (or hold an iGolf handicap index) and hold amateur status.
2. Competitors are expected to play by the Rules of Golf set out by the R&A and adhere to any local rules set out on the back of the scorecard.
3. Competitors are required to play with equipment that conforms to R&A Rules
4. Unless stated otherwise in these Conditions, The General Terms of Competition (available at Golf Reception) shall apply where appropriate.
5. A buggy, or any other motorized transport, may not be used in unless authorized by the Handicap Committee.
6. Competitors should check-in at Golf Reception at least 20 minutes before their start time
7. A player’s, or team’s, fully completed scorecard must be returned to the competition scorecard box as soon as possible after completion of the round.
8. In the event of a tie, the result will be decided by countback on the back 9, 6, 3 or 1 of the best card.
9. The result of the competition is officially announced once all scores have been recorded and the competition is closed.
10. The Handicap and Competitions Committee has the final decision on all matters.
